An accessory set of parts in 1:48 scale for the postwar Czechoslovak ST III training vehicle, derived from the tank destroyer known by the designation Hetzer.
Responsibility details are not available.
The tank destroyer known by the designation Hetzer was built toward the end of the Second World War in Czech factories: a low hull, a steeply angled frontal plate and a gun built directly into the hull. Production continued after the war and some of the vehicles ended up with the Czechoslovak army. The designation ST III belongs to the postwar training variant, which served to train crews rather than to fight.
This is an accessory set of parts in 1:48 scale for a model of this vehicle. It adds shapes the base kit does not have. The exact list of parts and the kit the set is built for are given in the manufacturer's instructions; sister sets in the same range have the target kit stated directly in the designation. Check the fit in the instructions before you buy.
The parts are not polystyrene, so glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little clear of the part and sand the remainder so that the large surfaces seat without a gap. Wash and degrease the parts before painting and lay down a primer, which will also show up any grooves still to be sanded out. The procedure and the position of the parts are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
For modelers of military vehicles in 1:48 scale with an interest in postwar Czechoslovak machines and in less usual modifications of well-known vehicles.
The package holds the parts listed. The kit, paints and glue are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
