1:48 Hurricane camo scheme B

Hurricane painting masks (camouflage scheme B) 1:48 (Eduard)

This is not a kit but a set of painting (masking) masks of the Eduard brand in 1:48 scale. The masks are precisely die-cut from yellow kabuki paper (Japanese masking paper) and are self-adhesive. They serve for clean spraying of the frames of the canopy, the wheels and the dividing lines of the camouflage of the British Hurricane fighter in the camouflage scheme B form. The model itself is obtained separately and is not included in the package.

The real subject

The Hawker Hurricane was a British single-seat fighter with a Rolls-Royce Merlin engine. Together with the Spitfire it made up the backbone of the fighter defense during the Battle of Britain and shot down a significant share of the attacking machines.

Use

• You lay the mask on the place concerned on the model and mask the surroundings.
• You spray the paint over the mask, and once it is peeled off crisp transitions remain.
• The set also contains masks for dividing up the camouflage scheme (variant B).
• It is used on a dried base coat on the model.

Who the set is for

• For modelers building the Hurricane fighter in camouflage scheme B in 1:48 scale.
• For anyone interested in clean masking without laborious cutting from tape.
• For intermediate and advanced modelers.

This is an accessory (a masking set), not a model. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
