Eduard Hurricane Mk. I masks 1:48 is a pre-cut self-adhesive masking set for a model of the British Hurricane Mk. I fighter. It gives sharp paint transitions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage. It is not a model, but a masking aid.
Responsibility details are not available.
This pre-cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:48 scale is intended for a plastic model of the British Hurricane Mk. I fighter. It is not a kit and it is not a model in its own right, but a set of precisely shaped masks made of thin yellow masking tape (kabuki). The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want sharp paint transitions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage areas without lengthy cutting of tape by hand.
The Hawker Hurricane is a British fighter of the Second World War and, together with the Spitfire, the main defensive fighter during the Battle of Britain. It had a mixed structure with a metal frame and a partly fabric covering, which made it easy to repair. The Mk. I version was the first production variant, and during the Battle of Britain it was credited with the majority of the kills scored by the British fighter defense.
Clean and degrease the canopy glazing. Take the masks off the backing and lay them on the frames of the windshield and of the sliding section of the canopy, pressing them into the edges. Spray the paint with an airbrush in thin coats. The wheel masks separate the tire from the rim. Once the paint is dry, peel the masks off carefully at a sharp angle.
The package contains masks only. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
