Eduard IAI C-2/C-7 Kfir 1:48 is a photo-etched detail set for refining a model of the Israeli Kfir fighter; it is not an aircraft model but an accessory for a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched detail set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for a model of the Israeli IAI Kfir fighter in the C-2 and C-7 versions in 1:48 scale. The set brings fine metal parts that replace or supplement elements of the plastic kit and raise the realism of the finished model. It is not an aircraft model but a detailing accessory.
The IAI Kfir is an Israeli supersonic fighter derived from the Dassault Mirage design, fitted with the American General Electric J79 engine and with characteristic canards by the air intakes. The C-2 and C-7 versions differed in avionics and armament; the Kfir served with the Israeli Air Force and with other operators as well. The set respects the shape details of these versions.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface, bend them over an edge or with a bending tool and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), or with a small amount of plastic cement on flat areas. Apply a primer before painting; the fine parts come into their own once picked out with a wash. Follow the enclosed instructions.
This is a detailing accessory, not a complete model. Paints, glue and the basic kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
