A masking set for the cockpit and the wheels of the Israeli Kfir C2/C7 in 1:48 scale contains a single sheet with ready-made cutouts for the dividing frames of the canopy and the circular wheel rims.

A sheet of thin self-adhesive tape with ready-made cutouts contains the dividing frames of the pilot's canopy and the wheel rims. In 1:48 the Kfir has a canopy shaped into a pronounced teardrop and its windscreen passes into an arch, on which a straight strip of tape breaks. A machine-cut shape gets around this problem.
When Israel found itself without deliveries of French aircraft after 1967, it reached for a solution of its own: it joined an airframe derived from the Mirage 5 with the American J79 engine. The resulting Kfir received canards above the air intakes, which improved its agility at low speeds. The C7 version added further pylons and more modern onboard systems. Besides service at home the machine found use in South American and Asian air forces as well.
Wash the pane in lukewarm soapy water and let it dry; grease from fingers is the most frequent cause of paint running under. Seat the shapes with tweezers, press the edges down and spray at right angles to the surface. Choose a matte or semi-gloss paint according to the transition to the surrounding finish; for the wheel rims an airbrush at low pressure is suitable.
The kit itself is not part of the delivery.
