Wheel bay masking plugs — IAR-80 1:48 (Omask)

A set of shaped foam plugs from Omask meant for a model of the Romanian IAR-80 fighter in 1:48 scale. The plugs fill the space of the wheel bays exactly and keep paint, primer or clear coat from getting inside before spraying. After spraying they lift out easily, so laborious extra masking of small openings falls away. It is based on the dimensions of the Hobby Boss kit.

Use

• Push the foam plugs into the wheel bays before painting or priming.
• They protect the interior of the bays from overspray and save time and material.
• Once the paint has dried, lift the plugs out carefully.
• The pliable material follows the shape of an opening well and protects the surface.
