A sheet of printed waterslide decals in 1:48 scale from the maker Exotic Decals. It is not a kit but an add-on for a plastic model of the legendary British Supermarine Spitfire fighter. The set brings markings of machines operated in Italian service and offers several color variants.
The Supermarine Spitfire is among the best-known fighters of World War II. After 1943 the Italian Co-Belligerent Air Force took British Spitfires into service, and they served with Italian squadrons in the late phase of the war and after it. These less usual machines with Italian national insignia are the main subject of the sheet.
Prepare a smooth glossy surface under the decals using a gloss varnish. Cut the motifs out, soak them briefly in lukewarm water and transfer them onto the model. A decal softener will help them settle perfectly. Fix the finished markings with a final clear varnish of the degree of sheen you want.
These are stand-alone decals. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
