A color photo-etched set from the Czech brand Eduard in the Zoom range, focused on the interior of a model of the J2F-5 Duck amphibian in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit but an accessory that raises the fidelity of the cockpit. The parts are pre-printed in color and self-adhesive.
The J2F Duck was an American single-engine amphibious biplane with a large central float, used for rescue and liaison duties. The open cockpit reveals the interior, so color photo-etched detail shows to advantage in it.
The set is focused on the interior: a color instrument panel, side panels and the seat harness, together with small cockpit items. Separate the self-adhesive parts with tweezers and press them onto a degreased surface; metal items without adhesive are fixed with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
This is an accessory photo-etched set, not a kit. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package; the set requires the matching base kit in that scale.
