A detail set of the vertical tail (the fin) for the Saab J35 Draken fighter in 1:48 scale from Aires. The resin accessory replaces the vertical tail from a plastic kit with a faithfully shaped casting with finely engraved panel lines and surface detail.
The Saab 35 Draken was a Swedish supersonic fighter with a characteristic double delta wing. It served from the 1960s and became known for its good performance as well as its ability to operate from improvised airstrips.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin part, cut off the casting block and bond the cleaned-up surface with super glue. Check that it joins the fuselage precisely and sand the joint gently if necessary. The engraved lines come into their own once painted and picked out with a wash.
This is a resin accessory for a kit, not an airplane model. The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
