Eduard masks Ju 52/3m 1:48 is a die-cut self-adhesive masking set for the model of the German three-engined Ju 52/3m transport aircraft. It gives sharp color divisions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage. It is not a model but a masking aid.
Responsibility details are not available.
This die-cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:48 scale is meant for the plastic model of the German three-engined Junkers Ju 52/3m transport aircraft. It is neither a kit nor a model of its own but a set of precisely shaped masks in thin yellow masking tape (kabuki). The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want sharp color divisions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage fields without lengthy cutting of tape by hand.
The Junkers Ju 52/3m is a German three-engined airliner and transport aircraft with a characteristic corrugated duralumin skin. It came about originally as an airliner and during the Second World War became the main transport and paratroop machine. The cockpit and the sides of the fuselage have a whole row of window panes, so masking the glazing takes more work on this type than on a fighter.
Degrease the glazing of the cockpit and the windows on the sides of the fuselage carefully. Lift the masks off the backing and lay them patiently onto the individual panes, working systematically window by window. Tune the transitions with a strip of tape. Spray the paint with an airbrush in thin coats. The wheel masks separate the tire from the hub. Once the paint has dried, peel the masks off carefully at a sharp angle.
The package contains masks only. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
