Eduard 1:48 Junkers Ju-88G-6 is a set of die-cut self-adhesive masking templates for a model of this night fighter in 1:48 scale. It is an accessory for painting, not a kit or a photo-etched set.

Die-cut self-adhesive masks from the Czech manufacturer Eduard of Obrnice near Most. Let us be clear about the type of goods: the package holds templates in masking paper for painting a model. It is not a photo-etched set that adds metal parts, and it is not a kit; the model of the aircraft is bought separately.
This set is listed without the TFace suffix, which Eduard uses for the double-sided form with masks for the inner side of the glazing as well. Expect, then, the ordinary treatment of the outside: the masks cover the glass while the exterior scheme is sprayed and the frames come out with a sharp edge. If you need to paint the frames in the interior shade from within as well, look for the variant designated TFace.
The Ju 88G was the night fighter version derived from the twin-engine Ju 88. It was marked by a solid nose with no glazed bombardier's position, gun armament and an onboard radar with its antennas. The G-6 sub-version belonged to the late forms of the line. The G family took over the tail surfaces in an enlarged angular form derived from the Ju 188, which is one of the easiest identifying features of the type.
Degrease the glazing and let it dry completely, as a mask will not hold on a greasy surface. Lift the pieces with tweezers, lay them on dry, align them and only then press the edges down with a toothpick or a blunt point. On long straight frames, check that the mask follows the edge exactly, as in 1:48 scale even a small deviation shows. Spray the paint in thin coats. Lift the mask while the finish is still fresh, and the edge will stay clean. The set is cut for a particular kit of this type, so please check compatibility in advance.
