This set is a fine photo-etched accessory intended for detailing a model of the L-29 Delfin jet trainer in 1:48 scale. It is not an airplane kit but a set of thin metal parts with which you replace or complete selected plastic parts and so raise the realism of a model. The manufacturer is the Czech company Eduard, which is among the leaders in photo-etched accessories.
The Aero L-29 Delfin was the first jet trainer of Czechoslovak design. It entered service in the 1960s and became the standard training machine of the air forces of the Warsaw Pact states. It stood out for simple handling, a robust structure and the ability to operate even from grass strips. Thousands of examples were built.
Carefully separate the parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface and use a photo-etch bending tool or a precise ruler for bending. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) or with slow-setting epoxy. Degrease the brass parts before gluing and paint them once they have been coated with primer.
This is a detail accessory, not a model of the aircraft. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
