This set is NOT an aircraft model but a three-dimensional color interior in the form of a 3D decal on decal backing, made for the injection-molded L-39ZA kit from Trumpeter. It is the reduced (small) version: it holds a selection of the key cockpit parts, complemented by resin parts. The photo-realistically pre-colored 3D-printed parts (the instrument panel, the side panels, the seats) give the cockpit a realistic look. You have to own the base Trumpeter kit separately.
The L-39 Albatros is the legendary jet trainer from the Czechoslovak works Aero Vodochody. The ZA version is the armed attack modification with a strengthened airframe, an underfuselage gun pod and pylons under the wings for stores, used for training as well as for light combat support.
The 3D decals are softened in water and applied straight onto the part like classic decals, creating a three-dimensional relief and a photo-realistic cockpit WITHOUT painting. Wash the resin parts to remove uncured print resin residue, cut off the print supports and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate); sand with respiratory protection. Leave out the chemical decal softener, however, as it attacks the printed resin.
This is an accessory for a kit, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
