1:48 L-40 Meta Sokol - Canopy and Wheels Paint Masks Set (for Kovozavody Prostejov Kits)

Peewit 1:48 canopy and wheel masks for the L-40 Meta Sokol

This set is NOT a kit but painting masks from the Czech manufacturer Peewit. It contains self-adhesive masks shaped exactly for framing the glazed cabin and masks for the tires of the wheels of a model of the Czechoslovak Orlican L-40 Meta Sokol light aircraft in 1:48 scale. The masks are designed for the L-40 Meta Sokol kit from Kovozavody Prostejov.

The real subject

The L-40 Meta Sokol was a Czechoslovak light sporting and touring aircraft of the 1950s built at Orlican. It was characterized by a reversed tricycle landing gear with the small tail-type wheel mounted at the front and by a glazed cabin for the crew.

Use

• Stick the masks on the clear glazing and cover the areas of the frames
• Spray the frames in the interior color and then in the exterior shade
• The circular wheel masks separate the tire from the hub
• Peel the masks off carefully once dry

Who the masks are for

For modelers who want sharp edges on the cabin frames and the wheels without laborious lining by hand.

Paints are not included in the package. Apply the masks to a degreased and clean surface.
