Painting masks for the LaGG-3 in 1:48 scale from Eduard. Kabuki masks for accurate masking of the cockpit glazing and the wheels.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of painting masks in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for the Soviet Lavochkin-Gorbunov-Gudkov LaGG-3 fighter. The masks are pre-cut from yellow Japanese kabuki tape and serve to mask the cockpit glazing and the wheels while spraying paint. It is not a model - the kit itself has to be bought separately.
The LaGG-3 was a Soviet single-seat fighter from the early years of the Second World War. Its structure was largely wooden, reinforced with specially treated plywood, which made production easier at a time when metals were scarce. Despite its higher weight it served in large numbers in the first years of the war and became the predecessor of the more successful Lavochkin La-5 series.
For modelers building the LaGG-3 in 1:48 scale who want clean paint edges on the glazing and the wheels.
This is a set of painting masks, not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
