1:48 Leaves - linden

Leaves — linden, scenic material for 1:48 scale from Plusmodel

A package of fine linden leaves from the Czech manufacturer Plusmodel, intended above all for dioramas and vignettes in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit; it is a scenic material with which you finish the terrain, the surroundings of trees, tracks or yards and give a scene the natural, living look that bare terrain will never offer.

Use

• apply the leaves onto diluted white glue or a matte acrylic medium
• place them with tweezers or a fine brush in small doses
• build them up irregularly, as they naturally gather by walls, fences, curbs and in ditches
• combine them with static grass, crushed leaves and pigments for a richer texture
• you can achieve an autumn mood by lightly toning them with diluted acrylic paints or a wash

Who the material is for

For builders of dioramas and vignettes who want to move their work up a level. Linden leaves suit military equipment and civilian scenes alike, a village green just as much as a city park. Thanks to the small size of the leaves they correspond to 1:48 scale, but they can be used by eye in neighboring scales as well, for more distant trees or smaller species of broadleaf. One package will last for a number of smaller scenes, as the material is used up a pinch at a time.

The material is supplied in its natural state with no medium. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
