Lockheed Martin F-35B Lightning II cockpit panels in 1:48 from Red Fox Studio bring the look of a present-day cockpit with a display into the Tamiya kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This interior equipment from Red Fox Studio brings into the model the look of a present-day pilot's station, where classic dials have been replaced by a large-area display. The set is applied like a decal and adheres to the surface without complicated fitting. The Tamiya aircraft kit is bought separately; this is interior equipment.
The F-35B is the rendition intended for short takeoff and vertical landing. Behind the cockpit it has a lift fan driven by a shaft from the engine, the exhaust nozzle swivels downward and roll-control nozzles at the wingtips help stabilize the machine. Thanks to that it operates from the decks of helicopter carriers and from improvised strips. It is operated by the US Marine Corps and a number of other users. Because of the installation of the fan it has smaller internal tanks than the other variants, but it does without a catapult and arrestor wires.
First sand off the molded relief to create a flat area. Offer the set up, check its position against the supporting structure and press it down so that no bubbles form anywhere. Finally we recommend unifying the whole interior with a matte overcoat. If you are finishing the model with the canopy opened, it is worth lightly working the edges of the panel in a dark shade.
