F-35A TFace 1:48 painting masks are Eduard kabuki masks that mask the glazing from the outer as well as the inner side.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of pre-cut Eduard painting masks made of kabuki tape for models of the F-35A Lightning II fighter. The TFace designation means that the sheet contains masks not only for the outer side of the glazing but for its inner side as well. Thanks to that the inner canopy frame can be sprayed in the interior color and the outer one in the camouflage color. It is neither a model nor decals but an aid to a clean coat of paint.
The F-35A Lightning II is a single-engine multirole fifth-generation fighter with features of reduced radar visibility, advanced sensors and data fusion. The A version is the land-based variant with a conventional takeoff and landing, operated by the US Air Force and by a number of allies. The glazed one-piece canopy is characteristic of the shape of the machine.
Degrease the surface. First stick the inner masks on and spray the interior color, and once the cockpit has been glued up add the outer masks for the camouflage. Apply the paint with an airbrush in thin coats and pull the masks off before the varnish has fully cured.
The masks are an accessory to a model. The model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
