Responsibility details are not available.
The package 1:48 Lockheed-Martin F-35B Lightning II is an Eduard accessory set from the Big Ed line. It brings together in one package several sets that are also sold separately. It is not a kit: the package contains accessories, and the model of the aircraft itself in 1:48 scale has to be obtained separately. The exact extent differs between the individual editions; check it on the packaging of the package.
The F-35B Lightning II is the variant of the fifth-generation combat aircraft adapted for a short takeoff and a vertical landing. It differs from the other versions in the lift fan placed behind the cockpit, the swiveling engine nozzle and the smaller internal fuel load that this propulsion system called for. It is precisely the lift fan and the doors above it that are the most conspicuous place on a model where added details will tell.
Cut the photo-etched parts with shears for photo-etched parts or with a scalpel on a hard surface, and bend them in a bending tool. Degrease them before gluing. Photo-etched parts are glued to plastic with superglue; with larger surfaces a variant with an extended setting time helps. Spray parts that are not pre-painted with a primer first. Finish the interior of the cockpit and the inner surfaces of the bays before you close the fuselage. With gray low-visibility paint schemes it pays off to work with fine differences of shade and with the panel lines, as a pronounced wash would come across as out of place on this type.
The set is supplied as an accessory to a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
