The F-35C Lightning II is the carrier version of the American multirole combat aircraft F-35, intended for operation from aircraft carriers. It differs from the land-based versions above all in a greater wing area with folding tips, a strengthened landing gear and a tailhook for landing on a deck. It is exactly these elements that make the F-35C a subject of its own, and they are reflected in the accessories made for it as well.

Before building, therefore, work out from the instructions which parts of the model you will be replacing with the accessory.
It pays off to go through the whole set of instructions before you start gluing: a number of accessories are fitted into inner spaces that are inaccessible once the fuselage has been glued. Seat every part dry first, clean and degrease the surfaces before gluing and choose the glue according to what the instructions state. Apply the paint in thin coats, so that the small shapes do not disappear under a thick layer.
For a modeler who wants to take a particular F-35C model beyond the level of the kit and does not mind working with small parts. The set does not replace a kit but follows on from one, so it comes in useful only at the moment when you have chosen your model.
