Big Sin is a collection from Eduard that brings several separate detail sets (the Brassin range) together in a single box for a model of the twin-engine P-38J Lightning fighter in 1:48 scale. It combines resin parts with photo-etch and masks and allows comprehensive super-detailing without putting the individual sets together yourself. The ADVANCED designation refers to the more extensive, advanced variant of the detailing. It is not an aircraft kit but a collection of accessories for an existing model.
The Lockheed P-38 Lightning was an American twin-engine fighter with its characteristic twin-boom layout and a central nacelle. The J version was among the capable late models used in Europe and in the Pacific for bomber escort, reconnaissance and attacks on ground targets.
Wash the mold release residue off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate; sand with respiratory protection. Bend the photo-etched parts along the grooves. The masks make it easier to spray the canopy frames cleanly.
The accessories are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
