A precisely turned brass pitot tube from MASTER, intended as a replacement for the plastic part on a model of the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird in 1:48 scale. It is not an airplane kit but a stand-alone metal accessory (a detail) that replaces a soft and easily damaged plastic molding with a fine metal part with sharp edges and faithful proportions. The set usually comes with a small resin item for seating the probe on the nose of the fuselage.

Use

• Cut the original plastic probe off the nose of the model and clean up the area.
• Drill a hole if needed and fit the brass part (with the resin item if included).
