The set 1:48 Lockheed U-2S TFace from Eduard masks the glazing of the cabin from the inner and the outer side.

The TFace form adds parts for the inner side of the glazing to the outer shapes. The frame thereby stays in the right shade from the side of the cabin too and does not shine with the color of the plastic. The set goes with a model of the reconnaissance U-2S; you will not find the model itself in the package.
The U-2 has carried the nickname Dragon Lady from the very start of its service. Against the older machines the S version has a different drivetrain and modernized avionics, while keeping the glider-like shape of the wing and exceptional endurance at great altitudes. The cabin is small relative to the dimensions of the aircraft, and all the more striking on a finished model is the way the frames are sprayed.
When the glazing is dealt with only from outside, bare plastic shows through when looking into the cabin and the illusion falls apart. A double-sided set removes exactly that. Spray the inner sides before the cabin is glued up; the outer shapes come only once the paint of the fuselage is finished. Remove any bead of paint on an edge with a toothpick, as a metal tool would scratch the clear part under it. An inner frame moreover visually takes away from the thickness of the clear part, which does a large scale decidedly good.
