A stand-alone set of cut masks for the model of the half-track tractor Kettenkraftrad in 1:48 scale. Unlike the aircraft sets, this is not about extensive glazing but about a few small surfaces that are all the harder to mask by hand, because they are small and round.
On a small tractor it is above all the small glazed areas and the areas of the wheels, where the color of the rubber differs from the rim. In 1:48 scale such a wheel is a few millimeters across and a ring cut freehand never comes out symmetrical. A cut mask solves that problem with an accurate circle, which can moreover be repeated identically on all the wheels.
For modelers who build this small vehicle on its own or as an addition to an aircraft scene and want the wheels and the glazing sprayed cleanly apart. The work is short, but the result shows precisely on the smallest parts.
