A mask set from the Czech maker New Ware for models of the L-39C Albatros jet trainer in 1:48 scale. The masks are machine cut from kabuki tape (a thin yellow washi) that follows the shape of the frames, holds a crisp sprayed edge and leaves no adhesive when removed. The BASIC level covers the outer masking of the glazing and the wheels.
Degrease the surface and remove any dust. The two-seat tandem cockpit of the Albatros has divided glazing, so place the masks part by part and press the edges down carefully. Spray thin coats and remove the mask shortly after the paint has dried.
The L-39 Albatros is a jet trainer built by Aero Vodochody, one of the most widespread training machines of its category. The C version served for basic and advanced pilot training and was exported to a number of countries.
This is a masking accessory, not a kit. The model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
