Responsibility details are not available.
A standalone sheet of waterslide decals in 1:48 scale from the brand Caracal Models. In its theme it aims at the early period of the service of the single-seat F-15A and the two-seat F-15B, that is the time when the type was only just entering the inventory. The sheet is added to a plastic model, which has to be bought separately. The particular machines, the units and the number of variants are given by the manufacturer on the packaging of the sheet and in the instructions; compare them before buying, so that you get exactly the markings you want.
The F-15 Eagle is a twin-engined air superiority fighter with a high-set wing, a pair of vertical tails and a large reserve of thrust against its weight. It first flew in 1972 and entered line service in the middle of the 1970s. The F-15A version is single-seat, while the F-15B is the two-seat trainer with its combat capability retained. The early machines differ from the later ones not only in equipment but in appearance as well: at first they wore a light single-color finish derived from the color of the sky, and only later did the two-tone gray scheme settle in that is associated with the type today.
With thin decals the soaking time decides. Leave the piece in lukewarm water only until the film begins to move freely on the backing paper, which is usually a matter of tens of seconds. Soaking that is too long washes the adhesive away, the decal then does not hold on the model and shifts easily. Carry it to the model together with the paper, therefore, slide the decal off it on the spot and fine-tune the position with a brush dampened in water.
The package contains only a decal sheet. The model, paints and glue are not part of it.
