1:48 Messerschmitt Bf 109E-3/4/7 JABO is a set of three-dimensional decals for the interior of the cockpit in 1:48 scale from Red Fox Studio. It is not a kit of the aircraft but an accessory for a plastic model from the Tamiya kit.

This set from Red Fox Studio holds three-dimensional (3D) decals intended for the cockpit of a plastic model. A color relief print gives the instrument panel and the interior surfaces a depth and a legibility that the hand painting of small dials in 1:48 scale reaches only with difficulty. According to the name the set covers the E-3, E-4 and E-7 versions in the fighter-bomber form. The set is cut for the Tamiya kit and is an accessory to it, not a model of the aircraft on its own.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 of the E series was a German single-seat fighter with a liquid-cooled Daimler-Benz DB 601 engine and the square outlines of the wing and the canopy typical of the early versions of the type. The designation JABO points to fighter-bomber use, in which the aircraft carried a bomb rack under the fuselage, or an auxiliary tank. The E-7 version was adapted for this way of use straight from the factory. The early versions differ from the later ones in the shape of the cockpit as well as in the layout of the equipment, so decals matching this very series suit better than a universal solution.
Three-dimensional decals are not released from their backing in water like classic wet decals. They are fitted to the interior parts before the fuselage halves are joined. The surface should be smooth, degreased and dry. Try the parts dry and for the application itself go by the instructions of the maker of the set.
The set is an accessory for a kit. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
