Messerschmitt Bf-109G-2 SPACE in 1:48 scale is a set of Eduard 3D decals for the interior of a fighter aircraft. It is an accessory to a model, not a kit.

A set from the SPACE line of the Czech manufacturer Eduard in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit of the aircraft, but a set of color 3D decals with raised relief, which will replace the painting of the instrument panel and the other panels of the cockpit by hand. The cockpit of a single-seat fighter aircraft tends to be visible only through a narrow cabin once the fuselage is closed, so it pays to have it finished quickly and cleanly.
The Bf-109G is a development series of the German single-engined fighter aircraft from the period of the Second World War, driven by an inverted V12 engine with direct fuel injection. The G-2 version is among the early machines of this series and differed from the G-1 version made alongside it in that it did not have a pressurized cabin. The design of the Bf-109 was led throughout its production by the effort for the smallest and lightest possible airframe around a powerful engine, which told on the cramped dimensions of the cabin and the narrow track of the landing gear as well.
First finish the surface and degrease it with alcohol. Moisten the carrier paper under an element with a sponge with a drop of detergent and lift the element off with tweezers. Fix it with PVA glue (white glue); the manufacturer does not recommend super glue. Lay it on, check the position and only then press it down with a cotton swab from the center toward the edges, so that no bubbles are caught. Do not use a decal softener, as it damages the printed layer of the element. With a small cockpit it pays to fit the decals before you cement the halves of the fuselage together, otherwise you will not reach some places with tweezers. If you want to unify the surface, reach for a matte varnish in very thin layers and spray from a greater distance.
The set is an accessory to a model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
