1:48 Messerschmitt Bf-110E is a combined Eduard set of accessories from the Big Ed range for a Bf 110E model in 1:48 scale.

This is not a kit of the aircraft but an envelope of accessories. The Big Ed range from the Czech firm Eduard of Obrnice near Most brings several separately sold sets intended for one particular kit together in a single package, usually in one envelope instead of buying them one at a time. The Bf 110 is a rewarding type for this approach: it has long glazing, a two-seat cockpit and extensive areas where detail tells. The Messerschmitt Bf 110 was a twin-engine heavy fighter aircraft of German design with a crew of two, in series production from the end of the 1930s. The E version was based on the preceding series and brought modifications for carrying bombs under the fuselage and a further strengthening of the structure, which moved the type further toward the duties of a fighter-bomber. The machine was used in Europe and in the Mediterranean, and in later versions it found use as a night fighter. A model in 1:48 scale has a span at which accessories for the cockpit and the landing gear pay off.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a scalpel on a glass surface and bend them in a bending tool, as twisting with tweezers deforms thin sheet. Do not glue the color-finished parts with cement for plastic; cyanoacrylate applied with the tip of a wire holds them. If the envelope holds masks, stick them on degreased glazing and press the edge down with a toothpick against paint running underneath. Before the build, go through the instructions for the kit and note which accessories have to be fitted before you close the fuselage up, as otherwise you will not reach them.
