Responsibility details are not available.
This is a decal set, that is, a sheet of waterslide decals for a plastic MiG-21 model in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit or a resin accessory: the set holds no parts, only markings, which you transfer onto the model after painting. A basic kit is needed separately and it is up to you which one you use it with. Check the exact contents of the sheet, the number of schemes and the particular fuselage numbers against the illustration on the packaging.
The MiG-21 is a single-engined supersonic fighter of Soviet design with its characteristic delta wing and a circular air intake with a movable cone. It was built in enormous numbers and in many versions and reached dozens of foreign users around the world, the Ugandan Air Force among them. It is exactly this branch of the series that concentrates on the less usual operators, whose markings are not normally found in kits.
Decals hold best on a smooth glossy surface. So once the painting is finished, overcoat the model with a gloss varnish, let it cure thoroughly and only then cut the individual motifs out as closely to the printing as possible. Soak the decal in clean lukewarm water for only a few seconds, let it release on its paper and slide it onto a dampened spot. On areas with engraved panel lines and riveting, use a softener so the film draws into the relief and no air bubble is left under it. Finally wipe the adhesive residues off with a damp cloth and even the whole model out with a matte or semi-matte overcoat, which hides the edges of the decals.
The package holds decals only. The kit, the paints, the varnishes and the softener are not part of it.
