Behind this name is a decal sheet, not a kit. The set is meant for finishing off a completed MiG-21 model in 1:48 scale and carries the designation of the first part of a multi-part series that Model Maker devoted to the Polish service of this type. Check exactly what the sheet holds against the illustration on the packaging.
The series is divided into several installments and each part brings a different portion of markings. The parts follow on from one another but do not duplicate each other, so for builders who want to put several Polish MiG-21s side by side it makes sense to collect them step by step. The MiG-21 itself is a single-engined supersonic fighter with a delta wing that stayed in Polish service for many years and went through several versions, from the early examples up to the late bis.
Finish and paint the model first, then go over it with a gloss varnish, which gives the decals a smooth bed. Cut the motif out closely to the printing, dip it in lukewarm water for a moment and let it release on its paper. Dampen the area on the model, slide the decal on and adjust it with a soft brush. On engraved lines and curved transitions use a softener, so the film lies exactly into the relief. Once dry, rinse off the adhesive residues and finally seal everything with a matte or semi-matte varnish, so the gloss intermediate coat disappears.
The set holds decals only. The model, the paints and the varnishes are not part of the delivery.
