This set from the manufacturer Quinta Studio contains colored 3D cockpit interior decals for models of the Soviet MiG-21bis jet fighter in the late form (Fishbed-N) in 1:48 scale. The elements are printed on a backing decal paper, they have a real three-dimensional relief and accurate coloring including the typical shade of the cockpit and the dial faces of the instruments. It is based on the dimensions of the Eduard kit.
The part is cut off the sheet, soaked for about fifteen seconds in lukewarm water and slid off the backing paper into place. The elements have no adhesive layer of their own and hold on a gloss clear coat (Future, Klear or Tamiya X-22); on complex surfaces a drop of super glue helps, and on a matte surface the element will not hold.
Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as their chemicals attack the printed resin. The pilot's space thereby gains the depth of the instrument panel and the consoles; the enclosed resin 3D parts are bonded with super glue.
