This set from the manufacturer Quinta Studio contains colored 3D cockpit interior decals for models of the Soviet MiG-21MF Fishbed-J jet fighter in the version matching Gorky plant production, in 1:48 scale. The elements are printed on a backing decal paper, they have a real three-dimensional relief and accurate coloring including the shade of the cockpit and the dial faces. According to the product name the target kit is the MiG-21MF from Eduard.
The part is cut off the sheet, soaked for about fifteen seconds in lukewarm water and slid off the backing paper into place, where it gives the pilot's space the depth of the instrument panel and the side consoles. The elements have no adhesive layer of their own and hold on a gloss clear coat (Future, Klear or Tamiya X-22); on complex surfaces a drop of super glue helps, and on a matte surface the element will not hold.
Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as their chemicals attack the printed resin. The rendering reflects the small differences in the panels of Gorky plant production and fits the corresponding variant of the model. The enclosed 3D-printed resin parts are bonded with super glue.
