Quinta Studio 1:48 MiG-21PFM (grey panels) interior on decal paper is a color-printed 3D accessory for the cockpit in the variant with grey panels. It is not a kit, but a set of interior details.
Responsibility details are not available.
This product is not a model of an aircraft. These are color-printed interior details with raised relief on decal paper, which are applied with water just like ordinary decals. The set is executed in the variant with grey panels; the maker also offers the same interior in a form with emerald green panels, so when choosing, check which color finish of the cockpit you want on your model. Intended for MiG-21PFM models in 1:48 scale.
The MiG-21PFM is a fighter version of the well-known single-engine aircraft with a delta wing. Against the older forms it has a fixed windshield and a cockpit canopy hinged to the side, reworked equipment and a system of blowing over the flaps to shorten the landing. The cockpit is narrow and very clearly visible with the canopy open, which makes it a rewarding place for detailing.
Paint the base and let it dry completely; the print holds best on a smooth, degreased surface sealed with gloss varnish. Cut the pieces out close to the edge of the printing, soak them briefly in lukewarm water, seat them and press them down gently with a cotton bud. Do not use decal softener or setting solution at all — their chemistry attacks the printed resin and ruins the element. Once dry, the surface can be evened out with matte varnish and the edges brought out with a dry brush.
This is an accessory, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise. Check the match with your own kit.
