The accessory contains photo-etched seat belts for the pilot's seat in 1:48 scale from the Eduard brand. The word STEEL in the designation says that the photo-etch is made of steel. Steel holds a shaped curve markedly better than softer brass, so the belts stay naturally draped over the cushion and do not spring back flat. The surface carries color printing, so extra painting is done away with. A plastic model of the aircraft is not included in the package.
The MiG-35 is the youngest branch of the Fulcrum family and is built in single-seat and two-seat forms. The crew sits under a hinged canopy with a good view and the cockpit is filled with large-area displays. Power comes from two jet engines housed side by side in the rear fuselage.
Cut the belts out with a scalpel close to the attachment and retouch the marks left by the cut with a dark shade. You can manage the shaping with smooth-jawed tweezers; lay the belt on the cushion first and only then shape the loose ends, so that they look relaxed. Fix them with a vanishing drop of cyanoacrylate glue applied with a pointed tool, so that the printing is not flooded.
The product is meant for modifying a model you already have under construction, and does not replace it.
