About product

Decals for the Mirage 2000D No. 652, 30 ans Raid Ouadi Doum, 1:48 (Syhart Decal)

A sheet of wet decals in 1:48 scale from the French maker Syhart Decal for models of the French Dassault Mirage 2000D. It captures aircraft No. 652 with the code 3-XN in the commemorative vanilla-chocolate finish marking the 30th anniversary of the raid on Ouadi Doum, carried by the EC 3/3 Ardennes squadron. It is not a kit but a decal sheet for finishing a model.

Use

  • Apply onto a smooth gloss coat, which keeps the decal from hazing underneath.
  • Release the decal in warm water and settle it into the surface detail with a decal softener.
  • Once dry, go over it with a matte or semi-gloss coat according to the scheme.
  • Complete the multi-color camouflage pattern with an airbrush according to the enclosed diagram.

Who the sheet is for

For modelers building the Mirage 2000D in 1:48 scale who want an unconventional commemorative camouflage scheme of the French Air Force.

This is a decal sheet. The model of the aircraft, paints and varnish are not included in the package.
