1:48 Mitsubishi A6M1/2a/2b/2-N Reisen is a Dead Design masking set for models of the early versions of the Reisen in 1:48 scale. It is an accessory for painting, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of pre-cut masks for models of the early versions of this Japanese carrier fighter, the ones listed in the name, including the A6M2-N floatplane conversion. The extent of the sheet and which surfaces the masks relate to is given in the manufacturer's instructions. Reisen is the Japanese name of the machine and is used consistently across the whole range.
The early versions of the Reisen differ from one another mainly in armament, engine and wingtip, while the shape of the cockpit and the basic layout of the airframe stay very similar. That is exactly why one sheet can cover several subversions at once. Check which version you are building before you buy, and while working compare the shape of the mask with the part before you apply it.
The basis is a clean, degreased surface. Lift the mask from the sheet with tweezers, lay it on dry and check that the shape fits. Only then press it down around the perimeter with a blunt tool, so that the edge seats everywhere. Apply the paint with an airbrush in thin coats with a short pause between them. A heavy wet coat will run under the edge or peel off as the mask is lifted. Lift the masks as soon as possible after drying and draw them back at an angle, not straight up.
The set is an accessory for painting a model. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
