A colored photo-etched set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard in 1:48 scale, intended for detailing a plastic model of the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Vb fighter. The parts are pre-printed in color and self-adhesive, aimed above all at the cockpit — the instrument panel, the seat belts and selected interior features. It is not an airplane model but an accessory that raises the fidelity of the detail on a kit already built or under construction.
The Supermarine Spitfire Mk.V was the most widespread variant of the legendary British fighter in the Second World War. It was powered by a Rolls-Royce Merlin engine, and the Mk.Vb version carried combined armament of 20 mm cannons and machine guns in the wing. The machine served with the RAF and with allied squadrons on many battlefields.
