1:48 Nakajima Ki43 Hayabusa Part 2: the second Wolfpack decal sheet for the Ki-43 fighter in 1:48 scale. The contents are markings, not a plastic model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A continuation of the Wolfpack decal series for the Japanese fighter Nakajima Ki-43 Hayabusa in 1:48 scale. The package carries markings; the aircraft itself comes from another kit.
The Hayabusa was the most numerous fighter of the Japanese Army Air Force and accompanied it from the first campaigns in Southeast Asia until the end of the war. It flew over Burma and over China, and the later production machines received a more powerful engine, a revised wing and protection for the pilot that the early forms lacked. Pilots valued its light controls and its ability to hold its own in close combat. Opponents, on the other hand, quickly learned the rule that one does not turn with it, and used their advantage in speed and in the dive.
Varnish the surface under the markings to a gloss, so that no air pockets form under a feature. Cut the individual decals out only just before applying them, so that the adhesive on the carrier does not dry out needlessly. Once a decal has settled, blot the excess water away with the edge of a paper towel and let the model dry through thoroughly. Only then comes the final protective varnish, which evens out the difference in sheen between the markings and their surroundings.
