This set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard contains pre-painted photo-etched seat belts in steel in 1:48 scale. It is not an airplane model but a detail accessory that replaces the simplified plastic belts of the pilot's seat, or belts that are missing. Steel photo-etch shapes well and drapes naturally, so the result looks more realistic than plastic.
The North American F-86 Sabre was a first-generation American jet fighter with a swept wing, used above all in the Korean War. The F-86F-40 version had a modified wing with a fixed leading edge to improve handling at low speeds. The Sabre was also used by a number of other air forces around the world.
Separate the parts from the fret carefully, shape them gently into a realistic sag and attach them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The printed color is sensitive to aggressive thinners, so choose a gentle varnish if you use one. The set is intended for F-86F-40 models in 1:48 scale.
The set contains photo-etched belts only. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
