Eduard 1:48 North American P-51D-5 Mustang SPACE is a set of 3D decals for the interior of a Mustang model in 1:48 scale.

This is not an aircraft kit but an add-on to one. The SPACE line from the Czech manufacturer Eduard of Obrnice near Most brings 3D decals in which the color print is carried on a layered backing. The result has relief and color at the same time, so the instrument panel and the side consoles of a Mustang model in 1:48 scale gain a depth that would otherwise take laborious painting of tiny details.
A different principle from wet decals
SPACE elements are not soaked whole in water and they have no adhesive layer of their own. With a damp sponge and a drop of detergent you moisten only the backing paper, lift the element off it with tweezers and set it on the part into a drop of dispersion glue, that is white PVA glue. The manufacturer does not recommend super glue, and do not use a decal softener at all, it would attack the printed layer. For a builder who does not dare to tackle photo-etched interiors, this is the easiest way to lift the cockpit markedly.
The North American P-51D Mustang was an American single-seat fighter powered by a license-built Merlin engine, distinctive for its bubble canopy with excellent visibility. The D-5 designation belongs to the early production batches of this version. The bubble canopy is precisely the reason why a detailed interior pays off more on a Mustang than on aircraft with a framed canopy: the cockpit is visible from practically every side.
Degrease the surfaces before fitting and let them dry. Moisten the backing paper, carry the element with sharp tweezers held by the edge, not by the print, and lay it down accurately the first time into a drop of dispersion glue. Finish the whole interior before you glue the fuselage together. Choose dry weathering; both solvents and a decal softener can damage the print. Given the good view into the cockpit, it pays to leave the canopy open.
