Eduard 1:48 P-40B steel seatbelts is a colored photo-etched set of seatbelts on a steel base for models of the American Curtiss P-40B fighter. An aftermarket accessory, not a model.

This is not a model but a colored photo-etched detail set. It contains the pilot's seatbelts for plastic models of the American Curtiss P-40B fighter in 1:48 scale. The belts are etched from steel, which is more flexible than brass, holds its shape better and reproduces the sag of the straps more faithfully.
Color-printed steel seatbelts with buckles and fittings for the pilot's seat, ready to use straight away without further painting. The steel base lets the belts be shaped naturally over the seat.
The parts are carefully separated with a sharp knife, shaped with tweezers into a realistic run and bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The printed surfaces are not overcoated.
The accessory requires a separate 1:48 plastic model of the P-40B; the model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
