Responsibility details are not available.
A set of pre-cut masking pieces in kabuki paper for the Curtiss P-40E Warhawk model in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit and not a replacement part - it is a painting accessory that covers the canopy glazing and the wheel tires at the moment you spray the model.
Cutting canopy frames out of tape by hand is the most tiresome part of the work on any fighter, and a single slip of the knife can ruin a finished part. The masks are cut to the shape of the parts, so there is no measuring and no cutting. Kabuki paper is thin, shapes well into curves and carries an adhesive that holds while you spray but leaves no residue on the clear part when lifted off. Masking for the tires is usually included as well, so that the wheel hubs can be sprayed separately from the rubber.
For modelers building the P-40E Warhawk in 1:48 scale who want clean, crisp canopy frames and do not want to spend the evening cutting tape. The set suits less experienced builders too - it needs no special tool beyond tweezers and a sharp blade.
This is not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package. Ensure ventilation and wear a respirator while spraying.
