P-47D-30 Thunderbolt SPACE, 1:48 is a set of 3D decals and pre-painted steel photo-etched parts from Eduard for a detailed rendering of the cockpit interior.

SPACE is a detail set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard combining color 3D decals with pre-painted parts of steel. The set brings a realistic rendering of the instrument panel, the side panels and further features of the cockpit of a model of the P-47D-30 Thunderbolt in 1:48 scale. It is not a model of the airplane but an accessory for perfecting the interior.
Color 3D decals, lifted with tweezers from moistened carrier paper, create a three-dimensional look for the instruments and panels. The pre-painted steel photo-etched parts take in fine details and the seat belts. The combination of both techniques makes it possible to fit out a cockpit quickly and strikingly without the laborious painting of individual dials.
Apply the 3D decals to a cleaned and degreased surface and fix them with white PVA glue; do not use decal softener or setting solution. Separate the steel photo-etched parts from the fret and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Shape the seat belts carefully for a natural sag. Work with a sharp knife and tweezers.
The accessory is supplied as a set of decals and photo-etched parts; paints, glue and the basic model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
