Eduard 1:48 Panavia Tornado ECR SPACE is a set of color 3D decals for the cockpit of a model of the Tornado combat aircraft in the ECR version in 1:48 scale. It is an accessory to a plastic kit, not a model.

A set from the SPACE range by the Czech manufacturer Eduard brings color-printed 3D decals for the cockpit of a plastic model. On a two-seat aircraft such as the Tornado it is a particularly useful accessory – both stations are fitted out in detail and hand painting dozens of instruments would take many hours. The set is intended for a model in 1:48 scale and does not replace the kit.
The Panavia Tornado is a twin-engine combat aircraft with a variable-geometry wing, developed in international cooperation and brought into service at the end of the 1970s. The ECR version is a specialized adaptation aimed at electronic warfare and reconnaissance – it carries equipment for finding and evaluating sources of emission and the matching sensor systems. It was operated above all by Germany and Italy; the crew is made up of a pilot and a systems operator.
Proceed according to the instructions in the package. The base should be flat, smooth and degreased – the molded relief of the instrument panels is usually sanded off the plastic so that the 3D decal seats over its whole area. The segments are applied one at a time and pressed down with a soft tool. The print is in color and is not painted over; apply any matte varnish in thin layers and test it beforehand on an offcut.
This is not a model of an aircraft but an accessory for a plastic kit in 1:48 scale. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
