Eduard 1:48 PV-1 Ventura painting masks are precisely die-cut self-adhesive masks that make it easy to paint the extensive glazing of a model of the Lockheed PV-1 Ventura patrol bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set of Eduard painting masks is intended for a plastic model of the American Lockheed PV-1 Ventura patrol bomber in 1:48 scale. The masks, made of thin kabuki tape, fit the cockpit frames and the glazing exactly, so you can paint even the large glazed areas of this twin-engine aircraft quickly and with sharp transitions. This is an accessory for painting, not the model itself.
The Lockheed PV-1 Ventura was an American twin-engine patrol bomber of the Second World War, derived from the Lockheed Model 18 Lodestar airliner. It first flew in 1941 and the US Navy used it mainly for anti-submarine and patrol flights, but also as a long-range bomber. It served with a number of Allied countries and proved to be a tough machine.
Transfer the masks with tweezers onto clean glazing and press them carefully against the edges of the frames. Spray the paint in thin coats with an airbrush so that it does not creep under the mask. Once dry, take the masks off carefully.
These are painting masks, not a model. The kit itself, the paints and the glue are not included in the package.
