This is a photo-etched detail set from the Czech maker Eduard, that is, a modeling accessory and not a kit of its own. The set holds pre-colored warning flags and streamers with the Remove Before Flight legend, etched from steel in 1:48 scale. In reality these red tags are hung on safety pins, covers and blanking plugs of parked aircraft, and on a model they give the scene credibility.
The miniature flags bring the look of a parked or serviced machine to life and suit any aircraft displayed on the ground. The parts are printed in color, so painting is not needed: it is enough to separate them from the fret, bend them into a flowing shape and place them on the model or on the base of a diorama.
Separate the flags with a sharp knife; a gentle bend suggests cloth in the wind. Use a small drop of super glue (cyanoacrylate) to fix them to covers, wheels or safety pins. The set is not tied to one type of aircraft: you can use it across your models and scenes.
This is a detail accessory for plastic models, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
