This set of pre-printed photo-etched steel belts from Eduard is used to detail the seat in models of the Republic F-84F Thunderstreak in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit but a separate accessory: realistic seat belts for the pilot seat. Compared with brass, the steel version is more malleable, holds the chosen shape better and drapes naturally over the edges of the seat.
Color-printed straps, buckles and belt hardware. Thanks to the pre-printed color finish there is no laborious painting and the belts look convincing as soon as they are in place.
Carefully separate the belts from the fret, shape them to the seat and attach them with a drop of super glue. Steel takes a gentle bend into a realistic drape without springing back.
This is not a model kit. The photo-etched belts are an accessory; the model and glue are not included in the package.
