1:48 Republic P-47D-25RE Thunderbolt EXPERT kabuki masks

New Ware 1:48 P-47D-25RE Thunderbolt EXPERT kabuki masks

A set of precisely cut painting masks in Japanese masking paper (kabuki) in 1:48 scale. It is not a model or a part of one but an accessory that makes painting easier. The EXPERT level is the most extensive variant from New Ware: it covers not only the canopy framing but other clear parts, the wheels and small details as well, so that the color boundaries are sharp and free of bleeding once the masks come off.

Use

• Transfer the masks onto cleaned glazing and press them down firmly, so that they seat into the frames.
• Spray the exposed areas with an airbrush or go over them with a brush; applying the paint in thin coats is ideal.
• The kabuki paper can be shaped into the curves of a bubble canopy and peels off cleanly once the paint is dry.
• Also suitable for masking the wheels, the position lights and other clear parts.

Who it is for

• Modelers who want perfectly painted canopy frames without the labor of cutting tape.
• Builders of the Thunderbolt in the bubble canopy version who will appreciate comprehensive coverage of the details.

This is a stand-alone accessory. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
