This set of color 3D interior decals on decal paper from the Ukrainian brand Kelik is intended for SBD-4 Dauntless models in 1:48 scale. It reproduces the instrument panel, the side walls of the cockpit and the details of both stations of this two-seat aircraft, with modeled relief and finished printing.
The Douglas SBD Dauntless was an American carrier dive bomber of the Second World War, famous above all from the fighting in the Pacific. The SBD-4 version brought improved electrics and equipment.
The decals are applied like classic ones: after soaking they are lifted off the backing and transferred to a cleaned and ideally varnished surface. The thicker 3D decals call for careful dosing of a softener, tweezers and a sharp scalpel.
This is an accessory for a plastic kit; the model itself and the paints are not included in the package.
